StatSheet's C-USA Player of the Week for February 6th goes to Memphis's Joe Jackson. StatSheet's C-USA Freshman of the Week goes to Jalen Jones from Southern Methodist. And last but certainly not least, Memphis's Joe Jackson has taken StatSheet's C-USA 6th Man of the Week. Jackson had 2.5 rebounds per game, 14 points per game, and 5.5 assists per game. The Memphis sophomore played well for the Tigers in a victory against Xavier and a loss to Southern Miss.

Jackson contributed 3 assists and 66% shooting in 18 minutes in a 75-72 loss to Southern Miss. He followed that up by leading the team in scoring with 14 points plus an additional 8 assists in a narrow 72-68 win over Xavier.

This is the first StatSheet C-USA Player of the Week honor for Joe Jackson. However, he has received multiple honorable mentions. The runner-up this week is senior Darnell Dodson from Southern Miss. Honorable mention goes to junior LaShay Page from Southern Miss.

StatSheet C-USA Freshman of the Week: Southern Methodist's Jalen Jones

Jalen Jones was on the floor an average of 29 minutes starting both games for Southern Methodist. His average in free throws (5.5 per game) topped all C-USA freshmen. In a 62-43 loss to East Carolina, Jones led all scoring and rebounding for the Mustangs with 11 and 8 respectively. Then in a 59-52 loss to UCF, he led all scoring with 16 points on 66% shooting.

This is the first StatSheet C-USA Freshman of the Week honor for Jalen Jones. Our own Ricky Tarrant gets runner-up. Julian Washburn from Texas-El Paso takes honorable mention.

StatSheet C-USA 6th Man of the Week: Memphis's Joe Jackson

Sophomore Joe Jackson, a 6-1 guard, played an average of 24 minutes over the two games for the Tigers. In the loss to Southern Miss, Jackson added 3 assists and 66% shooting. After that, in the win over Xavier, he led all scoring with 14 points and added 8 assists.

This is the first StatSheet C-USA 6th Man of the Week award for Joe Jackson. Darnell Dodson, a senior guard from Southern Miss, is runner up. Neil Watson, a sophomore guard from Southern Miss, earns honorable mention. Tulane has yet to win StatSheet C-USA Player of the Week.
